WINE: JOSEPH PERRIER Cuvee Royale Brut NV

Type: Champagne
Origin: France
Approx Cost: $45

Impressive mousse and bead. Straw gold. Very fruity and sweet. Hard to make out the fruits. Maybe strawberry, peach. Creamy and rich. It’s a different type of wine to a Moet or a Bollinger but I don’t mind it at all. Quite a good NV and not bad value for a Champagne, really. Still, I don’t know if I’d go back to this again if there were other choices on a wine menu. Can't see myself buying at a bottle-o.
